Texel Logic – collaboration with Unity, IndyCar, and Autodesk – developed an AR application that allowed attendees at the Autodesk University conference to visualize the aerodynamics on an IndyCar in augmented reality. The project was featured on the Unity Blog with details on how the different companies worked together.
For this project I was the project manager and provided additional developing support for the early stages of the project.
As the developer I assisted the lead developer on tuning the calculations needed to orient the air flor particles across the vehicle based on the user position and which QR code was scanned. For the project we were unable to use object tracking, only image tracking.
This project was created by Texel Logic, a Jackson Dawson company.
